Senior/Lead QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, initiative, proactive and self-driven Senior/Lead QA Engineer (wannabes are welcome, too). We thrive in the Childcare industry in the US with our SaaS products: Lead Management, Marketing Automation through phone calls, SMS, emails, Facebook Messenger, Landing Pages. We transform highly complicated technical challenges into very simple to use SaaS products for non tech savvy users. We make their daily tasks easier and their businesses more efficient.

Responsibilities:
- Passionate about QA and new technologies
- Willing to take ownership of projects and present proposed solutions to the wider team to non-technical staff
- Consistently delivers and keeps up to date on best practices/standards and QA methods
- Able to perform effectively to tight deadlines, work well both independently and as a part of a team
- A proactive attitude to problem solving and an understanding of the role of QA in a creative environment

Requirements:
- Practical experience in testing (functional, non-functional, regression and manual) SaaS products
- Practical experience in API testing (Postman, SoapUI, etc.)
- Practical experience in implementing QA methodologies, processes and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Codeception, etc.)
- Proficiency in bug reports and error descriptions in a systematic way
- Proficiency in relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB, etc.)
- Great and effective communication skills, both verbal and written in Lithuanian and English
- Good knowledge of HTTP protocol and REST API design principles
- Good knowledge of SaaS development life cycle
- Basic knowledge of PHP and JavaScript is expected
- Work experience in the Agile environment
- Attentiveness to details, curiosity, can-do attitude
- You have a genuine passion and empathy for the end users

Beneficial skills:
- NoSQL experience
- Experience with CI/CD
- Programming skills (in any language)
- Experience in working with GitLab and/or GitHub
- Experience in documentation and user guides for SaaS products
